Blessed with the lightest of fingers and a talent for trouble, the self-proclaimed "gentleman-thief", Rodney Skinner was a pickpocket of renown amongst even the most hardened thieves of the criminal underworld.

So after stumbling upon a potion that renders its bearer invisible, one would think that an individual with such 'unique' talents would find himself in the enviable position of sitting at the top of the premier league of cads, swindlers and blaggards that inhabit only the most seamiest of London streets.

But alas, even in the most silver-lined pocket, there lies a cloud. He failed to consider the consequences of having to remain in that state indefinately. He's accepted The League's mission for purely selfish reasons.

"I'll be provided with an antidote if I'm a good boy!", he says to Quartermain. It is unclear whether Skinner is a good or bad guy, but his stealth makes everyone fearful of him and being feared tends to bring out the worst in people.
